Anthony Konechny

Well, this casting nugget totally flew under the radar. It turns out that back in December, actor Anthony Konechny made a very low key announcement on Twitter that he had joined the cast of Fifty Shades of Grey

Producer Michael De Luca

Fifty Shades of Grey producer Michael De Luca took the lead at the Sundance Film Festival's Producers Guild of America breakfast this week. The event for producers in attendance at the film festival covered a wide variety of topics ranging from navigating tricky projects like Fifty Shades of Grey to De Luca's new job at Columbia Pictures.

De Luca, who's worked on best-picture Oscar nominees Captain Phillips, Moneyball, and The Social Network, agreed that like the bestseller Moneyball, Fifty Shades of Grey hasn't been an easy adaptation.

Callum Kieth Rennie and Dylan Neal

Ana's two quiet, but well meaning step-fathers have been cast in Fifty Shades of Grey. Callum Keith Rennie will portray Ray Steele, the man who's name Ana bears and whom she considers to be her father. Taking on the role of Bob Adams, Carla's current husband, is Dylan Neal. The two actors are the latest to join Team Fifty in supporting roles.

Marcia Gey Harden

Oscar and Tony Award winner Marcia Gay Harden has joined the cast of Fifty Shades Of Grey. She will play Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey, the adoptive mother of our favourite emotionally damaged billionaire, Christian Grey, and his siblings Mia and Elliot.

Marcia is an accomplished stage and film actress who has appeared in countless theatre, film and television productions during the course of her career. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Lee Kranser, an influential painter and wife of artist Jackson Pollack in the 2000 film Pollack. Three years later she received another Academy Award nomination for her role as Celeste Boyle in the Clint Eastwood film, Mystic River. In 2009, Marcia won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her portrayal of Veronica in God of Carnage. The 54-year-old actress can next be seen in another book adaptation,You're Not You, and is currently filming Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight.
