Alexander Skarsgard

Alexander Skarsgard, who plays the dangerously impulsive vampire Eric Northman on HBO's popular series True Blood, has been in the Fifty Shades mix for awhile. The actor has been included in many casting lists as an ideal candidate to take on the role of domineering billionaire Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation. So what has the actor had to say about the role?

Stephen Amell at Wondercon 2013

Back in March, Arrow star Stephen Amell posted a video to his Facebook page where he revealed that he had a meeting about to the highly anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. The Canadian-born actor was not specific about who he met with, so the internets were rampant with news outlets, gossip blogs, and fans trying to decipher what exactly the message meant.

Well, now we know. Just last week Amell was at WonderCon where he was promoting his hit CW series and he went into more detail about the meeting he had regarding the film.

Stephen Amell

Another Christian Grey fan favourite is speaking out on the coveted lead role of the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation. Arrow star Stephen Amell decided to tackle rumors of his involvement in the film head-on by posting a video on his Facebook page. While Amell confirmed that he had a meeting about the project, he wasn't specific about who he had the meeting with. Was it just with his own management team or was Team Fifty involved?

You can see what the hunky actor he had to say about Fifty Shades of Grey below.

Mila Kunis

We can finally put one casting rumour to rest and that is that Fifty Shades of Grey will not be starring Mila Kunis. The actress has finally ended the rumour that she will be playing Anastasia Steele in the upcoming film adaptation. At a recent press conference to promote her latest movie, Oz The Great and Powerful, UK's EntertainmentWise asked about the role and Kunis clear the rumour up once and for all.

Bill Condon and Erik Odom

Well it looks like there are some new names being thrown around in the search for the director and Christian Grey in the highly anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. The latest names in the mix are Bill Condon and Erik Odem. The director and actor both have a Twilight connection. Condon directed both Breaking Dawn films, and Odom portrayed the nomadic vampire Patrick in Breaking Dawn Part 2. The pair have found themselves in the center of the Fifty Shades vortex thanks to – what else – Twitter.
