Emilia Clarke in HBO's Game of Thrones

Congratulations to Anastasia Steele fan favourite Emilia Clarke on her first ever Emmy nomination!

The British actress was nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO hit series Game of Thrones. If you're a fan of the series, you know that Daenerys – or Dany as she is informally referred to on the show – is bad ass. Not only is she the rightful heir to the Seven Kingdoms, she is also known as a great Dothraki Khaleesi and the Mother of Dragons.

Fifty Shades of Grey Cast Will Not Be Revealed at Comic-Con

With a director and official release date announced within weeks of each other, rumours were rampant that casting announcements for the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation were soon to follow. Last week, Hollywood Life reported that the cast would be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con International. The annual event plays host to just about every spectrum of pop culture fandom you can imagine.

In recent years, high profile film and television casting news has been announced at the popular event. Unfortunately, it looks like Fifty Shades fans will have to wait a bit longer because this latest rumour was slapped down by E L James herself via Twitter.
