OMG! It's finally here. The first official trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey!!! It's a doozy too. The trailer clocks in at 2:34 and it's all in there. The interview, the bar scene, the photoshoot, the RED ROOM OF PAIN! And how about Beyoncé's all new version of Crazy in Love made just for this movie? LOVE IT!

Check it out and let us know what you think!

Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!! It was so good! I don't know what I expected but my god it was awesome! The guy playing Christian was just the right balance of intimidating and hot. His dark focused stare had me squirming too. Anna was so innocent and sweet. Loved it! I realized as I watched this that I didn't have high expectations before. Maybe I was worried they'd screw it up. I don't know, but I'm pleasantly surpised to say I have nothing to worry about. It looks fantastic and oh so erotic. You could feel the chemistry through the damn screen! A lot of babies are gonna be born 9 months from the day it comes out. Lol ...:D

After watching the trailer - I still do not see what the producers saw in the casting of these two characters. Dakota (Anastasia) looks too old - weathered. She has constant bags under her eyes. Jamie (Christian) is not the drop dead gorgeous man that is described in the book. Too bad they didn't listen to the fans and cast someone like Ian Somerhalder or Lucy Hale. Ian and Lucy would have kicked butt in this movie!

Marie different strokes for different folks. Jamie wasn't my first choice Henry Cavill was . I loved when they chose Charlie though. He's extremely sexy. I would have screamed in disgust had they cast Ian Somerhaulder. Thank God they didn't go that route. They would have lost me for sure, that being said, Dakota doesn't look as bad as I expected. I may be able to tolerate her. I enjoyed this little tidbit and look forward to the movie.

bruingal, you know I was right there with you wanting Henry Cavill for Christian (I was also right there with you absolutely NOT wanting Ian Somerhalder being cast in that role)!!! When I reread the books (which I do, at least parts, often), Henry is still the Christian I choose to see in my mind. However, Jamie and Dakota are who we have. Jamie is not what I pictured Christian as, but he definitely has more of the Christian look (in my mind, anyway) than Charlie Hunnam does. Over the months since Jamie's casting, I have seen him in interviews and in clips from shows he's appeared in, and I have grown to like him and accept him as Christian. I have always had more reservations about Dakota (I always pictured Ana more like Emmy Rossum), but, I must say, I thought she did really well in the trailer. I thought the trailer was beautifully, elegantly filmed and had such a cool, sleek look to it. Jamie, in my opinion, was nailing the scenes shown, especially the elevator scene...I thought it was totally hot, and pretty much exactly how I pictured that scene playing out in my mind. I was absolutely thrilled with the trailer!!! We are all entitled to our own opinions, and we all have the right to either go or not go see this movie. Jamie and Dakota were not how I pictured C & A, but I am now beyond excited to see this whole movie based on what I saw today. ;-)

Well said smalltowngirl, above all for me the movie is more than the cast it is the story.

I agree Maria, Jamie and Dalota are so far from the characters in the book. Not only in their looks, but in how they are portraying the characters as well. Physically, Jamie doesn't look at all like Christian. And his "look" is not dominating at all...he looks like a little puppy dog.

And Dakota...geez...where do I start? Everything is wrong with the way she looks. From her awful hair style (to cover her big forehead), to her big, bumpy nose, to her baggy eyes.

In "Meet Fifty Shades" (from Fifty Shades Freed), Christian says that Ana "has a small, sweet face" and "Her profile is delicate - an upturned nose, soft, full lips".

It's a shame that they (the producers, the director and E.L James) didn't care enough to even try to get it right. Then again, maybe the "right" actors/actresses didn't want any part of this fiasco.

It was wonderful! It achieved all that was important to me. So sensual and now I can hardly wait for the entire movie.

These two do not do the book justice. Poor casting job.

His eyes are way too dark it's gross, Christian has light gray piercing eyes, and he's too scrawny and I just do not swoon over him at all. Dakota looks SO old, just like we saw in all the set photos. She doesn't even have the big eyes. I saw nothing of the youth and innocence from her that is portrayed in the books. They totally screwed up with casting her. I'll just be sticking the books, as I expected. Have absolutely no interest in this film. I also know they have to change some things for films and it can't always be exact but stuff already looks a lot different from what's described. If the actors were better cast I would def be excited but I can't get over how awful they look. No can do.

I agree with you Sara. especially the part about Dakota. Ana is young and fresh. Dakota is far from that.

I agree with you and Sara. The trailer didn't change my opinion, in fact, it cemented it.
They got it SO wrong! Dakota is a total disaster. Not only in her looks, but in her acting, too.
Jamie may be a better actor than her - by way of being more experienced - but he doesn't look or act like Christian at all.

And judging by the reviews I've read online in the New York Times and the The Telegraph UK, for example, most people agree.

    The scenes looked hot.
    The actors-not so much.

Most agree that the trailer scenes shown here are what I would have expected, but I am not having an opinion only based on the scenes. As for Jamie and Dakota, nothing has changed, not the best casting for these roles.

I watched the trailer this morning while at work so I did not have time to go back and re-watch it a few times over. My first reaction was WTF. I agree with the previous comment that Dakota looks old and weathered...it just didn't feel right...Jamie did nothing for me and I mean NOTHING. He is very handsome, yes, but again...it just didn't feel right. Underwhelmed is an understatement. Upon my second, third, and fourth viewing, I didn't feel a whole lot better. I did enjoy one scene, just one, in the elevator. But that is about it folks. Wa- wa :(

I don't know. I still can't get behind these two, but the trailer looked nice. Very glossy and vivid. I think enough fans are happy enough with the casting for this film to be a hit. I hope the fans who are excited will enjoy the movie. :)
