Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian

After E.L. James' June 1st announcement, Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian flew onto the shelves just the way we like it, quick and dirty! The highly anticipated novel dropped on Thursday and no doubt many Fifty Shades fans spent the weekend reading and re-reading the torrid tale as told by the one and only, Christian Grey.

Loved it!!! Well, The book made me fall in love with this story all over again. It's a fantastic story and hearing it from Christian's POV is almost like a whole new story, even though I know what was going to happen it felt fresh and new.I was engrossed. Hearing what was going on in Christian's mind really bright to light how confused and immature he was, he had no idea what the protocol or procedure was for a "normal" relationship, he struggled with the basics. Hearing Darker and Freed from Christians POV will be unforgettable. This is a timeless story. I would even love to see a .5 book from Taylor's POV. I bet he had many thoughts.

I loved it! It was great getting inside his mind. Bruingal said it perfectly. And I love how it ended with Christian setting his plan in motion to get Ana back. The break up in the first book is so painful even though we know they get back together. The narrator for the audio book is awesome! What a voice. Can't wait for Darker and Freed from Christian's POV. His character really grows in those books and to hear his thoughts during that process will be something else I am sure the fans will love him even more. This is such an amazing story that does in deed possess you.

I listened to the audiobook and absolutely loved it. The narrator, Zachary Webber, does a wonderful job and captures Christian Grey perfectly. Can't wait for the next two (fingers crossed).

I really love reading Christians point of view. There is so much here and to see him fall in love with Ana from the very fist time they met was heart warming.
I have read a couple of times and am now listening to the audio. Learning new things about him every all over again.
Now waiting for the Darker POV book.

I absolutely loved it. Although getting inside his head was both enthralling and disturbing. It really gave insight about why he had absolutely no capacity for empathy. And his feelings for Ana really hit him like a train. He had no idea what was happening to him, even the pain he felt when she left at the end he kept questioning. I too look forward to the other books from his prospective. I was shocked at his naiveté in the way as at the end he kept telling himself, "just let her cry, she will feel better and then we will go on." These characters had a way of clutching me. I have re-read these books a dozen times. Anyone else have the same experience?? I am baffled. Please forgive if this is a topic that has been overdone. This is my first chance at this blog and I would just love to talk about these books. I review for Amazon and have many things to get to and read, but I am re-reading Darker now. Thank you all!

I just saw your comments. I know you posted this months ago but I had to tell you I'm very attached to the characters too and I have not stopped reading the books. I'm on a constant reading cycle. I agree with your comments about Grey and I'm dying for the next books too. If you haven't you should join the forum. You will see that you are not alone, we are all quite attached and we have a lot of great discussion about Fifty!
